Don't forget that school is closed next week for the Thanksgiving holiday except for students registered for Thanksgiving Camp (Nov. 24-26). Pre-registration closed on November 14th. Campus will be closed on November 27-28. We wish you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving!

ICYMI we are expanding into middle school starting next school year with 6th grade! We know that the middle school years are crucial years in your child's development. With smaller class sizes, individual attention, and an amazing, high-quality curriculum, students will get the education they deserve. Bigger middle schools run the risk of your child getting left behind - whether they need more support or are ready for advanced challenges in schoolwork. Social and emotional learning is just as important as math and reading but it's not always something taught in schools. This year, we introduced Life Lab, a weekly class that focuses on helping students build these skills that will help them developmentally. From learning how to manage big emotions and show empathy to how to resolve conflict when it arises, Life Lab gives kids foundational tools (and practice) they need to succeed in school and beyond.

This year's a little different as we're switching things up and having dinner with Santa instead of breakfast. 🍝 Get ready for a delicious spaghetti meal, kids-only shopping in the Santa Store, and a fun evening celebrating the holidays! 🎁

This month's Teacher Feature is all about Ms. Riley! She's one of our awesome STEAM teachers, working with our little learners from TK-2nd grade. She brings so much creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom!

Holy moly...we're officially in the 2nd trimester! Time sure flies when we're having fun!🤩

One of the things that sets Folsom Prep apart from other schools is our focus on nurturing well-rounded students. Math and language arts are crucial, but they shouldn't be the only focus at school. Our enrichment classes that students take EVERY WEEK (not just once a month or sporadically) help build lifelong skills, like critical thinking, innovation, teamwork, and problem solving.

Students in 2nd through 5th grades are excited to begin coding in Technology class with Mr. Smith! 💻Programs like Scratch and Hour of Code help students learn the basics of computer science and coding.
